PAYMENT
We accept the following forms of payment -by cash in person, Bank Transfer, Debit and Credit card.
Sorry we can no longer accept cheques unless by special arrangement and payment will have to clear first, and we no longer use PayPal due to the huge fees we were being charged.
Payment by Bank Transfer and Debit Card incurs no fees.
All goods remain the property of Zed-parts Ltd until full and final payment is received.
FORMATION OF CONTRACT
Payment must be received in full before the goods you ordered will be dispatched.
We will confirm by email that your order has been accepted using the email address given by you when you placed your order.
This forms the contract between Zed-parts Ltd and you the customer.
If for any reason we cannot process your order we will contact you
CANCELLATIONS
Under the United Kingdom's The Consumer Contracts Regulations(June 2014).
You have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within 14 working days of delivery.
To cancel this contract, please notify us by e-mail first, then return the item to us.
(at the address shown below under 'returns')
in original, unopened condition. Enclose a note detailing your name, address, telephone number, and 'Cancellation of Order'.
Please note that you will be responsible for covering return postage, unless the item supplied was not the correct item due to an error on our part or the item is defective.
OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS
Overseas customers please contact us first as we are unable to sell to some countries.
Postage quoted is a quote only, some overseas orders can cost a lot more to send due to remote location. Overseas orders will be shipped air mail. We have had big problems with surface mail, shipping time and no item tracking.
We will try to keep costs down but overseas postal charges can be high and will have to be paid for before your order is shipped.
Some large items can cost a lot to ship due to the dimensions not weight, gaskets, large plastic items etc
ITEMS SOLD
It is the intention of Zed-parts Ltd to provide sufficient information about the products and services offered on this site as would be reasonable to fully describe the item to the extent required by the Consumer Protection (Distant Selling) Regulations 2000.
It may be from time to time that the description falls short of what the customer personally considers adequate.
In that event the customer agrees to request further information as soon as is reasonably possible by e-mail to Zed-parts Ltd or to the address given on this site.
The failure of the customer to make such request, either before or after an offer is submitted on this site to Zed-parts Ltd, shall amount to an acknowledgement by the customer that the description on the site is adequate.
Shipping
Update 09-12-2022
Due the huge volume of orders going missing (67 in the last 60 days) in the post recently
we are now only shipping out 1st and 2nd class signed for.
We apologize but we are unable to continue absorbing the cost of replacing
items the post office have delayed, lost or where customers claim the item has not been delivered
We appreciate your understanding on this issue
DELIVERY
Orders received on a working day before 3.00pm will usually be dispatched the same day for delivery by 1st class post, standard parcel post or recorded delivery. Orders received after 3.00pm on a working day will be dispatched the next working day. In case we don't have the product in stock, we will notify you of the next available delivery date and we will dispatch your goods as soon as they come into stock.
We use Royal Mail or specific couriers for our deliveries. All orders will be sent recorded delivery and will require a signature.
This helps with any problems and items can be tracked if they go missing. We will send your item to the address you have supplied.
If for any reason the parcel has been returned to Zed-parts Ltd due to nobody having been in to receive the parcel or it has not been picked up from the depot listed on the card left at the address, the customer must pay for all charges incurred to Zed-parts Ltd for the parcel to be resent out to you with no exceptions.
FITTING OF THE PARTS WE SUPPLY
All goods are supplied with the understanding that they will be fitted by a qualified experienced person equipped with correct tools necessary to fit the parts correctly.
Our bearings come with a 100% Guarantee against manufacturing defects.
This guarantee does not cover deliberate damage or damage caused by incorrect installation. When installing bearings, it is recommended that you use a bearing press.
Malfunction caused when shields have been damaged/dented either when inserting the bearings or over-tightening the axle nuts will not be covered by the bearing guarantee.
If you wish to make a legitimate claim against a bearing guarantee please return the bearings in its original packaging and your receipt (proof of purchase) to zed-parts.com and we will process your claim as quickly as possible.
Electrical items must be fitted as to the manufacturers instructions, any alteration or failure to fit correctly will invalidate the warranty.
